Assorted Weavings
I love to make handwoven, hand sewn handbags! I tie together four sticks
to form a primitive loom frame, then tie off my warp cords; I use colorful,
washable yarns as my weft. With no bulky equipment, I can weave wherever I go -
but what an exercise in agility and concentration it is to create this way! When I
lived in cities, I sold these handwoven treats in small galleries.
Now I am adding them to the Sunshower Designs site. Enjoy!

These are perfect gifts for a young girl or hip coed...!
This delightfully yellow bag is approximately nine inches tall by seven wide; the carrier strap is 24 inches long
(ideal for a diagonal, across the chest fit) and can be knotted. The opening is claspless and fringed; the
inside lining is black nylon. Detailed sides end in tassles; geometric designs on front, and stripes across
back, are black and white.

This bag is a deep bluish-purple that has forest green speckles, interwoven with plush plum. It features a
plum colored geometric design on the front, and a band of plum at top on the back as well as along the
bottom. It is approximately 9 1/2 inches tall by 7 1/2 wide at the bottom, with a slight taper at the top. The
opening is claspless; the inside lining is black nylon. The sides are detailed at the bottom, and the carrier
strap is about twenty inches long - again, just perfect for a diagonal, across the chest fit.
